Murphy Beds Taken Out of Use at Disney’s Riviera Resort After Bed Fell On Guest
I’m sure you’ve seen by now about the murphy bed that fell on a guests at the newly opened Riviera resort last night. Apparently the guest woke up to a “loud bang” when the murphy bed become detached from the wall and fell on a family member while they were sleeping in it.
Two people had to lift the bed off of the woman sleeping in it. Other than a few minor scrapes and bruises, she was not severely injured. But it leaves everyone questioning why and how this happened.
Disney’s response to this unfortunate accident is that the murphy beds will no longer be in use at the resort. If the Guests had planned on using the bed, they can make arrangements at the front desk for some sort of replacement.
