Get a Closer Look at Disney’s Riviera Resort Including the Amazing Artwork
As we mentioned, our friends at MickeyTravels are coming to us live from Walt Disney World this week where they are sharing all of the exiting details of the opening of Rise of the Resistance and the awesome attractions coming to Walt Disney World in 2020 and beyond. Today, they learned more about Disney’s Riviera Resort complete with awesome photos that we are so excited to share with you.

The newest property inspired by Walt’s Grand European vacations will house studios and villa properties and it part of the Disney Vacation Club timeshare program! The Riviera Resort is slated officially open on December 16th.
Here’s a look at some of the signage for the property really giving that Parisian Marquee feel.
That same attention to luxurious European detail can be found throughout.
Posters found throughout the property really give it that vintage feel.
The ironwork on the property is filled with wonderful hidden Mickey details!
Carpeting and flooring are rich with incredible details on vibrant Mediterranean hues of blue and cold. There’s even a hidden Disney character or two! Can you find them!?
That amazing attention to detail and design can be found right down to the textiles and soft furnishings.
Even the window treatments have a story to tell!

Much of the artwork scattered about the property draw their inspiration from Disney fairy tales many of which drew their inspiration from books Walt picked up during his tour of Europe!

Artwork throughout the property is also inspired by some of Disney World’s most iconic castles!
Colorful abstract imagery also adds an extra element of Disney magic throughout.

Topolino’s will also feature character artwork with a French Riviera sort of flair!
Throughout the property, you’ll also find artwork featuring classic and modern Disney films written in French, Italian, Spanish and more!

The water play area at the Riviera Resort will definitely keep kiddies busy for hours on end and offers parents beautiful views of this incredible towering property!
