Rise of the Resistance Reaction From Twitter
The FOMO is real, kids. Many people I know are enjoying the opening days and nights of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge’s newest attraction – Rise of the Resistance.
On the other hand, I am sitting in snowbound Central Massachusetts admiring a freshly plowed driveway.
However, at least I have lots of company here on the couch in New England.

That said, I am NOT spoiler averse.

So, if you are wanting to NOT be spoiled as to the working parts and pieces of Rise of the Resistance….
Trying to be as unbiased as possible here… Rise of the Resistance is the best ride in any Disney Park. Here’s a non-spoilery hallway photo… #StarWars #GalaxysEdge pic.twitter.com/2JrhynNEoK

….exit the ride, now.

Sill Here? Good.

Fifty menacing First Order Stormtroopers await guests as they arrive in the hangar bay of a Star Destroyer as part of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the groundbreaking new attraction opening Dec. 5, 2019, inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Jan. 17, 2020, at Disneyland Park in California that takes guests into a climactic battle between the Resistance and the First Order. My favorite review is from my online acquaintance Matt Martin (above), who I trust to have treated Star Wars properly in his work with Disney Imagination.
But NPH’s (et al.) ride leaves little to the imagination:

However, I am pretty excited about the OVERWHELMINGLY positive notes received by the new ride.

And Josh Gad’s endorsement is pretty definitive.
#RiseOfTheResistance is the most impressive ride I have ever been on. I do not think people are ready for the scale, the scope, the surprises & the immersiveness of this soon-to-be iconic attraction. Folks, it’s a game changer. Congrats to @strowbridge & the team of Imagineers🙌 pic.twitter.com/uZ7TamhkN0

And I think on his way into Rise of the Resistance, Josh found Samantha!

Glad Cap understood that reference, but I digress.

Where’s my helmet? Let’s go to Batuu!

As guests move through the queue in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, they see flight suits and other military equipment inside the Resistance encampment.
