Christmas Decorations Have Arrived at Magic Kingdom
Faster than you can say November, the Christmas decorations have arrived at the Magic Kingdom. Much like myself, the most magical place on Earth does not hesitate to start celebrating the holidays.
This morning, MickeyBlog went LIVE on a walk through Magic Kingdom Park where we were able to view the first of the Christmas decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Front Entrance Transformation
As soon as you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you will be greeted with seasonal decor. The giant pumpkin towers have disappeared overnight and Christmas garland is now strewn about the train station. As you can see, yellow and orange banners are still up, but they will disappear over the next few days as the transformation continues.
Main Street Wonderland
As you enter the park and take a look around Main Street, U.S.A. you’ll find splashes of red and green strewn across buildings and lamp posts. Bows, boughs, peppermints, and all things Christmas!
Mickey pumpkin wreaths have disappeared and in their place are stunning Mickey Christmas wreaths. These festive wreaths are packed with evergreen boughs, holly, poinsettias, fruits, and topped with a big, red bow.
The popcorn cart is rocking some festive, holiday garland. (I’m going to guess that the Oogie Boogie popcorn bucket sign won’t be around much longer!)
Disney Christmas Decorations for Home
While a few Christmas items had started to appear in shops over the past few days, a full takeover happened overnight. Take a peek at some of these seasonal souvenirs!
It’s never to early to hang your stocking by the chimney (with care). And might as well spruce things up with a Mickey or Minnie nutcracker and this previous little winter house.
At the top of my Christmas list is this adorable Dale Nutcracker! (Excuse me while I go clear a spot on my mantle…)
Of course, you can’t forget the most important member of your family during the holiday season. Stuff your pet’s stocking with this adorable Buffalo Plaid, hooded sweater. The hood even has it’s own Mickey ears and antlers! (I bet Pluto would love this!)
The holiday transformation at Disney Parks usually take a few days, so you can expect to see more Christmas decorations coming. Keep following along with MickeyBlog for more of the holiday spirit and watch the LIVE stream of the castle lighting tonight!
