Three Occasions To Celebrate at Walt Disney World
As you know, Disney is THE place for celebrations! Whether it be a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or any other celebration – celebrating it at Walt Disney World is the perfect way to ensure a great time will be had by all!
Here are some tips on celebrating your life events at Walt Disney World:
1. Birthday Celebrations at Walt Disney World
Birthdays have to be the most common celebration people celebrate at Walt Disney World. And, for good reason! There are literally hundreds of ways to celebrate!
Instead of throwing birthday parties, many families have opted to take the birthday boy or girl and their families to Walt Disney World to celebrate there. One idea is to let the birthday Guest pick what park that would like to celebrate their birthday in and they can then make all the plans including FastPasses and Dining Reservations. Pro Tip: To add some extra magic, make a reservation for one of the popular dessert parties offered at each of the four parks.
Robyn from Disney Parks Moms Panel said that one year her daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday in France. So, they head over to the French Pavillion in Epcot for macaroons for breakfast at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. After some other fun activities in Epcot, the birthday girl and her dad went over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for a horseback riding adventure!
Some other ideas to celebrate your birthday at Walt Disney World include making a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess or prince makeover or Pirate’s League for a pirate makeover. In-room celebrations and having a birthday cake delivered to your dining table are sure to make the day even more memorable as well.
Pro Tip: If you are celebrating a birthday, make sure to stop by the front desk of your resort or select locations in the Parks for a birthday button!
2. Anniversaries at Walt Disney World
Either as a couple or with the entire family, anniversaries are just more magical at Walt Disney World!
Amy M of the Disney Parks Mom Panel celebrates her anniversary one week before Christmas. To celebrate, she and her husband head to the Parks to take advantage of the extra holiday magic.
“Whether we’re enjoying a romantic dinner at California Grill or fun with the whole family at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we find multiple ways to celebrate while we’re there. And, of course, we always remember to wear our “Happily Ever After” or “I’m Celebrating” buttons!”
If you’re not celebrating your anniversary during the holiday season or just looking to add some extra magic to your visit, check out the Enchanting Extras Collection. The Collection offers everything from VIP tours to nature experiences that allow you to Dine with Animal Specialists and go diving in Epcot Seas Adventures – DiveQuest.
Pro Tip: Forgot a present for your other half? No worries! Head over to Disney Springs for that perfect gift.
3. Graduations
Know anyone about ready to get their Ph.D. or Masters? What about a high school or even kindergarten graduation? Then, why not celebrate their accomplishments at Walt Disney World?! Make memories that will last a lifetime with photos with their favorite characters, a VIP Tour, advanced dining reservations at their favorite Walt Disney World restaurant, or even the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise.
Pro Tip: Make sure to get your “I’m Celebrating”button to make sure everyone gives them “A Way to Go” as they pass by!
