Disney World Seasonal Parking Restrictions Are In Effect
The Walt Disney World Resort is bustling with the holiday spirit as everyone is arriving just in time for Christmas. And while it’s one of the most beautiful times of the year, it is also one of the busiest.
In years past we have seen parks reach capacity early in the day limiting entry for others. It’s also at this time of year that the Disney resorts begin to fill up with guests arriving to celebrate the holiday.
For this reason, each year Disney places seasonal parking restrictions at certain resorts in order to ensure parking for the resort guests and individuals with dining reservations. This is something AP holders and anyone visiting with a vehicle will want to pay attention to. Again, resorts guests and guests with dining reservations will still be able to park.
Resorts with Seasonal Parking Restrictions
At this time the following Disney resorts are under the seasonal parking restriction:
- Grand Floridian Resort
- Polynesian Village Resort
- Contemporary Resort
- Beach Club Resort
- Yacht Club Resort
- BoardWalk Inn Resort
This means no parking at Poly to hop on the monorail to the Magic Kingdom no parking at Beach Club to walk to the International Gateway. While some individuals may find this an inconvenience we remind you it is only temporary and parking will return to normal after the holiday rush. There is no definite date at this time, however, in years past, we have seen the parking restriction lifted in January.
