Changes Coming to Epcot for FastPass Selections
It looks like changes are coming to Epcot’s FastPass+ Tier 1 and Tier 2 selections! As a reminder – FastPass+ is a ride reservation which allows guests with valid theme park tickets to reserve ride times for up to 3 attractions at one theme park in advance of their visit. This system allows savvy visitors to reserve premium attractions, minimizing waits upon arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. With the exception of Magic Kingdom, the remaining theme parks have a Tiered FastPass+ reservation system. Guests may select ONE of the attractions listed in Tier 1 and TWO of the attractions listed in Tier 2.
Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot has previously been listed as a Tier 2 attraction. HOWEVER – I confirmed with a cast member this morning that any advanced FastPass+ bookings after June 11th will include Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot as a Tier 1 selection. Here is the new list that guests will see if booking FastPass+ selections at Epcot on or after June 11th:

The good news is that same day FastPass+ selection times for Epcot Character Spot have been hard to spot on most days, lately. Here’s hoping that with this new change, guests visiting the parks can find a same day FastPass+ time for this character meet-n-greet now!
