Your Guide To Having Groceries Delivered To Your Walt Disney World Resort
When it comes to visiting Disney, budget-minded travelers know that having a basic stock of snacks, quick breakfast items, and bottled drinks delivered to your room can really cut down on your daily budget. However, for those flying to Disney, having a car filled to the brim with tasty treats isn’t an option. But don’t worry! There are a range of fantstic business in the Orlando area that offer grocery delivery services right to your resort. This means you can order up an array of necessities to tide you over during your visit. Here’s a brief look at some of your grocery delivery options!
Amazon Prime Now
I’ll start this list with a service I use during nearly every Disney visit. For those who want groceries with little turnaround time Amazon Prime now is the perfect option. You have to be an Amazon Prime Member to enjoy this perk. Ordering is done from the website or app and you can have groceries delivered to your Walt Disney World resort in under an hour for a $7.99 delivery fee or FREE if selecting a 2-hour delivery window. One of the reasons why my family loves this service so much is that you can get everything from groceries, toiletries, Disney themed items and even a Kindle! You can’t beat this service for ease of use and speed. The only downside is the prices can be a bit steeper than they would be if you walked into your local Walmart.
Visit the Prime Now website to explore grocery options for your visit to Disney World.
Garden Grocer
This delivery service has long been the go-to grocer for guests staying at Walt Disney World. Visit the website or download their app and you can choose from over 5,000 different items for delivery. Orders can be done via the website or by downloading the app. Garden Grocer is perfect for families that like to plan ahead and make your orders prior to your trip. The service offers a discount the further out that you book with those booking 60 days out getting a discount of up to 10% off of your order. We have always found Garden Grocer to have a nice variety of items perfect for resort room dining. There is a $14 delivery fee for every order.
You can find out more about Garden Grocer here.
Walmart
This superstore is relatively new to the grocery delivery game in Orlando but is the perfect option for budget-minded families loyal to the brand! The delivery fees are reasonable (under $12) and you’ll find all your usual Walmart favorites at the same affordable prices. Guests must sign up for a delivery account in order to utilize the service. The only negative I’ve heard from clients utilizing the service is that delivery slots book up quickly so definitely try to do a bit of forward planning.
Information about Walmart’s grocery delivery service can be found here. You’ll be asked to enter a zip code to see available stores in the Orlando area that deliver. Enter 32830!
WeGo Shop
Another popular service, WeGo Shop is a bit more like a personal shopper than a standard grocery delivery service. Guests can visit the website and choose a local supermarket that you would like the service to visit on your behalf. There are a wide range options from Winn Dixie and Publix to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. A shopper will then be assigned to your order and will select items on your behalf. WeGo Shop is ideal for families with who know exactly what you’d like or have loyalty to a particular grocery chain. Because it is a personal shopper service the delivery fees are slightly more expensive with a $19 dollar delivery fee for orders of up to $50 as well as a $3.00 fuel surcharge. The fees increase the larger the order with orders between $200- $300 requiring a $39 delivery fee. If you’d like WeGo Shop to visit more than one store they will add an additional $5 to your order. Same day delivery is an additional $10 so it pays to make your orders here in advance. There is an additional $10 gratuity added for al orders left with Bell Services.

Dizzy Dolphin Delivery Service
We love that this service was started by several DVC members to deliver fresh quality groceries at fair prices. Guests have the option of customizing your order whether it be specific brands, quantities or sizes. The service shops, fills, packs and delivers items directly to your resort door! This is another option perfect for those that like to plan ahead as deliveries must be placed no later than 7-days before delivery date. There is a $14 delivery charge for orders up to $250 after which the delivery fee is waived. A minimum order of $50 is required to use the service. Payment is required in advance once the order has been priced and items finalized.
Visit the Dizzy Dolphin website for more info!
instacart
This is another personal shopping service that you may already be using in your local area that also delivers to Orlando resorts. Instacart can pick up your preferred items from a wide range of local merchants including Publix, Aldi, Costco, CVS, BJ’s and more. This a nice option for wine lovers as Total Wine is another business that works with this service. Delivery charges vary depending on the size of your order and the time that you have selected for delivery.
