Spooktacular Pictures of Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade
“When the crypt doors creek and the tombstones quake, spooks come out for a swinging wake”. Some of those very spooks will also come out for a dreadfully, delightful Halloween celebration at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
During the spookiest time of year, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party takes over the evenings at the Magic Kingdom. As the park closes down to the general public, the gates are opened for party-goers who have purchased a special event ticket.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party features a variety of party exclusives including trick-or-treating, unique character meet-and-greets, HalloWishes and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular stage show. However, one of the best offerings during this seasonal event is Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade.
Pumpkin-head in hand, the “Headless Horseman” and his steed trot down the street signaling the start of the nighttime parade. Immediately following is Mickey and the gang along with an assortment of friendly characters such as princesses, Pooh, and Mad Hatter.
Pirates
A swashbuckling crew of Pirates takes over the streets as they twirl and toss their skull flags in an impressive manner. Keep your eyes open for a glimpse of Barbosa and Captain Jack Sparrow himself.
Haunted Mansion
Next up begins my favorite section of the parade. Watch as a herd of dancing gravediggers mesmerizes you with their “spark-tacular” shovel stunts. Haunted Mansion inspired floats featuring Madame Leota and the Hitchhiking Ghosts trail behind the troupe of ballroom dancing spirits.
Hoedown
Join in the knee-slappin’ fun as Clarabelle Cow makes her debut for a “Halloween Hoedown”. I dare you to try and sit still as all your favorite critters dance through the street. Spectators will get a chance to see Chip and Dale, Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, Brer Bear, and all the Country Bears.
Treats Not Tricks
Wreck-It Ralph leads this sweet section of the parade through Magic Kingdom Park. Candy plays an important role in Halloween, so it’s appropriate that Vanellope and Sugar Rush inspired dancers join the party!
Villainous Fun
Halloween is the time for spooks and evil. So not to be left out, all of your favorite “Bad Guys” close out the parade. The villains are one of the highlights, making this parade one of Disney’s best. Afterall, it’s “good to be bad”!
