Your Ultimate Guide to Lunchtime at Magic Kingdom
Making reservations for dinner and fast passes are necessary for any trip to Walt Disney World. With the many offerings for quick service restaurants (QSR), many can find themselves without plans or reservations for lunch. Unlike dinner at these table service restaurants (TSR), lunch tends to offer less expensive dining options and can give you a similar experience to what dinner has to offer. Along with that, most of the QSR options are busier during the lunchtime hours and many can find themselves waiting in long lines and ending up without a place to sit. Consider booking lunch reservations at Magic Kingdom and using the OSR options for dinner! Our friends at MickeyTravels can help with all your reservations when you book your vacation with them. Their service is free!
Of the many restaurants at Magic Kingdom, Liberty Tree Tavern located in Liberty Square, Crystal Palace just off of Main Street U.S.A. toward Adventureland, The Diamond Horseshoe at the tip of Frontierland, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., The Plaza Restaurant just off Main Street U.S.A. toward Tomorrowland, and Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Adventureland offer both TSR lunch and dinner menus and each require a reservation. Though mentioned below, Be Our Guest is one of Magic Kingdom’s most sought-after dining reservations. Be Our Guest offers a QSR lunch and a TSR dinner, but both require a reservation due to the specialty of the venue. If you are looking for a dinner reservation and are unable to make one, lunch is still a wonderful option. Although Beast does not appear during lunch, there are many photo opportunities inside the castle. (Yes, even the West Wing!)
Part one of lunchtime in the Magic Kingdom offers menus to Liberty Tree Tavern, Be Our Guest, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, and the seasonally operated Diamond Horseshoe.
