Masks No Longer Required For Fully Vaccinated at Disneyland, Only Required Indoors for Non-Vaccinated
And, here we go again! Disneyland has just announced that mask and face coverings are no longer required indoors and outdoors for all Guests who are fully vaccinated starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 15. In addition, all Guests who are not fully vaccinated, are no longer required to wear a mask or face covering in outdoor spaces.
Disneyland will NOT be requiting proof of vaccination but will ask Guests to “self-attest” to being so and confirm they are aware that of the State of California’s strong recommendation that all theme park Guests are fully vaccinated or have received a negative Covid test before their entry.
The only place masks will still be required at Disneyland for all Guests, regardless if they are fully-vaccinated or not, is on bus transportation.
Below is the official announcement from Disneyland regarding masks and face coverings no longer being required in all indoor and outdoor environments with the exception of bus transportation:
Starting June 15, face coverings will no longer be required for fully vaccinated Guests both indoors and outdoors. Guests (ages 2 and up) who are not fully vaccinated must continue wearing face coverings indoors, except when dining.
While Guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination, vaccinated Guests will self-attest that they are in compliance prior to entry. In addition, all Guests will need to attest that they are aware of the State of California’s strong recommendation that guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks when making their Disneyland Resort theme park reservations.
When the Toy Story parking lot reopens on June 18, all Guests (ages 2 and up) regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear an appropriate face covering while on the bus transportation from the lot to the parks.
As a reminder, temperature screenings are also scheduled to end tomorrow at the Disneyland Resort.
This past Friday, Walt Disney World announced that Guests who are fully-vaccinated were no longer required to wear masks indoors with the exception of resort buses, the Monorail, and Skyliner. A month ago, Walt Disney World lifted their mask mandate for fully vaccinated Guests in all outdoor spaces.
