Fall has arrived at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World and with it an array of fun seasonal happenings! As a matter of fact, there are so many exciting goings-on that we here at MickeyBlog created this weekly news recap to keep you straight!
The 2018 Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House – This past week we shared with you an incredible first look at the spooktacular gingerbread centrepiece that will take pride of place in the Great Hall during this year’s Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay at Disneyland Resort. This year’s version pays homage to scary movies and features a five-foot-long spider as it’s focal point. Vampirina Arrives at Disneyland Parks – If you’ve got preschool-age children than no doubt this Disney Junior character is a household name. We are happy to let our littlest fans know that Vampirina will now be on hand to greet guests at Disney California Adventure Park and will also be taking part in the Frightfully Fun Parade. Be sure to be on the lookout for “Vee” and have those cameras and autograph books at the ready!
WonderFall Flavors Arrive at Disney Springs – Disney foodies will delight in the fact that Disney Springs has unveiled a mouthwatering menu of fall treats that you can find at eateries throughout Disney World’s downtown shopping district. The Pixar Fun Lasts All Year Round – Pixar Fest may have officially ended this past week but the Pixar Fun over at Disney California Adventure Park is still in full swing at Pixar Pier. Whether it’s enjoying the thrills of the re-imagined Incredicoaster to indulging in some sweet treats at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff to checking out some of the new midway games inspired by Pixar’s beloved short films, the Pier is a Pixar-themed destination not to be missed. Finishing Touches Being Added to Centertown Market – With the massive construction project winding down over at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we are happy to see the wonderful details that are coming together to give future guests who stay here the feeling that they’ve just stepped into a tropical island paradise! When Old Port Royal reopens later this year visitors will be immersed in the colors and details of the Caribbean like this gorgeous mural (above.)
