Disneyland Resort Hotels to Get New Dining Enhancements
Disneyland released the exciting news that two of its three Disneyland Resort Hotels will be receiving enhancements to a few of their already spectacular eateries!
Tangaroa Terrace -Disneyland Hotel – This much loved tropical hideaway at the Disneyland Hotel will be closing its shutters soon and is slated to re-open in 2019 as the Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill. However, fans of its 1950’s style tiki vibe needn’t worry as the theme will remain offering the perfect complement to the retro feel of the iconic Disneyland Hotel. Enhancements to Tangaroa include a new outdoor bar and patio area offering island cocktails and Asian-inspired bites. Upgrades to the interior will include new lighting fixtures made of floating fish and netting as well as a tropical mural and bamboo accents throughout.
Coffee and Dole Whip-lovers will also delight in the fact that a new service window will be serving up delicious coffee selections and pineapple soft serve through the day! Both are perfect for enjoying poolside. With these exciting changes to decor also comes updates to the menu. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Tangaroa Terrace will also offer an open-air marketplace for quick bites.
For those visiting Disneyland Hotel while the refurbishments are going one, you’ll find menu offerings available at The Coffee House, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Room and Steakhouse 55.
White Water Snacks – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa- This Disney Grand Californian quick service location will also close soon and re-open later this year with a brand new look. In the meantime, guests are advised to pop by the Hearthstone Lounge which will offer grand-and-go food and beverage options.
NEW! Grand Californian Pool Bar – Coming Spring 2019 – That’s right! Guests of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also be able to indulge in a poolside cocktail or two at the all-new pool bar! This new watering hole will be themed in the Hotels gorgeous Arts and Crafts style. Guests can expect natural boulder stonework, a custom tile mural and a trellis structure which will provide a bit of shade from the Anaheim sun. Menu items will include an array of delicious libations and appetizers. Lounge and table seating will also be available.
