Some Menu Items We Can’t Wait To Try at the Taste of Epcot Food & Wine Festival
EPCOT officially opened its gates this morning and that means that the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has officially arrived. From now through until November, Disney will be wining and dining us with an incredible array of dishes to sample from around the World!
Though this year’s festival will be understandably different from years past, what hasn’t changed is the focus on impeccable ingredients, expert cooking techniques and the presentation you’ll find in each of the dishes being served up around the World Showcase this year. In addition, the beverage team has been hard at work coming up with paired wine and beer selections that serve as the perfect accompaniment.
So without further adieu, lets dive in and look at some eats and treats that we simply can’t wait to try!
Chocolate Baklava – Morocco
I have a HUGE sweet tooth so it seemed only fitting that I start this list with a look at this mouth-watering sweet treat. Head over to the Morocco Pavilion for this treat made from Rolled Phyllo Dough, Toasted Almonds and Dark Chocolate Sauce. And for those that want to enjoy it with a drink in hand, might we suggest the Mimosa Royale made with Sparkling Wine, Orange Juice and Orange Liqueur.
Southern Seafood Boil – Hops & Barley
Seafood lovers won’t want to miss this delicious dish brimming with Shrimp, Mussels, Crawfish, Potatoes, Corn and Andouille Sausage!
Frozen S’mores Desserts & Champagne (World Showplace)
This milkshake is positively next level. It has all of those amazing flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers in liquid form. Kids will love it and adults will love it to when you add a splash of Whipped Cream Vodka!
The Impossible Burger Slider – Earth Eats Hosted By Impossible
You’ll find this kitchen near the Mexico Pavilion and is a perfect stop for those looking for plant-based treats. The slider comes topped with Wasabi Cream and Spicy Asian Slaw on a Sesame Seed Bun. Those looking for the perfect cocktail should also order up the Bloomin’ Blueberry which features Lemon and Ginger Twinings Tea and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Its even served in a Mason Jar!
Tarte aux Oignons Caramelises Et Chevre- France
This savory French pastry looks simply divine and features Goat Cheese- Caramelized Onions, and a Flaky Pastry Crust. Also be on the lookout for the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy which expertly combines Vodka, Grey Goose L’orange, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry Juice.

Strawberry Soft Serve – Shimmering Sips
Now here’s a treat that just makes us smile. This strawberry soft-serve is next level with all of the delightful sprinkles. Parents may want to try the Key Lime Mimosa that you’ll also find here made with Key Lime Sparkling wine and Cranberry Juice.

You’ll find several different varieties of Mac and Cheese here including the classic with Fine Herbs Cheese and Herbed Panko, a Buffalo Chicken version topped with Carrots, Celery and Blue Cheese Crumbles and Lobster Mac with Lobster Cream topped with Herbed Panko. There’s even a planted based option with Italian Sausage and Peppers!
Spanakopita, Greece – Wine & Sine Featuring Festival Favorites – World Showplace
This kitchen at World Showplace is a bit of an oddity but it does give guests the opportunity to try out some classic Food & Wine Festival dishes that aren’t getting their own kitchen this year. Here you’ll find Kielbasa and Pierogies from Poland, Fisherman’s Pie from Ireland and our favorite (pictured above) Spanakopita which is a delightful mix of spinach and feta cheese in crispy filo pastry!
Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup – Canada
I suspect if I took a survey of favorite Food & Wine dishes this one would come out on top. Always a crowd pleaser, this delicious bowl of Cheddar Soup is rich, creamy deliciousness. It’s also served with a Prop & Peller Pretzel Roll perfect for dipping. In what is an admittedly odd pairing, this stand is also offering Dole Whip with Coconut Rum. A bit strange but who am I to turn down a boozy dole whip!?
Teriyaki-glazed Spam – Hawai’i -Showcase Plaza
They love their Spam in Hawaii and now you can see what all the fuss is about with this dish that also comes with Potatoes, Peppers, Onions and a Spicy Mayonnaise. They are also offering a cocktail inspired by Disney’s Hawaiian resort called the Aulani Sunrise, Its a mix of Vodka, Dole Pineapple Juice and Grenadine.

Flancocho may just be my new favorite word and it looks equally as delicious! This passion fruit cake comes with a Coconut Flan for the perfect sweet treat!
Pork Tostada – Mexico
This dish is a thing of beauty. A delightful mound of Chipotle Black Beans, Roasted Pork, Fresh Salsa Verde, Onions, and Cilantro sit atop a Crispy Fried Corn Tortilla.
