Michael Eisner Send Words of Support To Disney Amidst COVID-19 Shutdown
We’ve received words of encouragement from Bob Iger over the course of the past week and Disney World President Josh D’Amaro also hit the parks over the weekend to spend the last night at the Magic Kingdom amongst, cast members and visitors.
Today, former CEO Michael Eisner took to Twitter to share a message of support for everyone at Disney during these unprecedented and difficult times.
As an alum with great respect for our Disney cast, I know fear of this virus creates a palpable dread. Teddy Roosevelt said, “When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” I’d say, don’t get to the end of your hope, hang in there. This won’t last forever. #Disney

He used the words of Teddy Roosevelt to instil hope in Cast Members and visitors alike and ended with a heartfelt “Don’t get to the end of your hope. Hang in there. This won’t last forever.”
Michael Eisner was CEO of the Walt Disney Company from September 1984 to September 2005. He was replaced by Bob Iger who recently stepped away from his role of CEO of the company to concentrate on Disney’s creative projects. Bob Chapek assumed the CEO responsibilities in February.
