Disney’s Animal Kingdom Welcomes Adorable Cotton-Top Tamarin Triplets!
How sweet is this? We love a good celebration, and it looks like we have a new birthday to celebrate at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Dr. Mark Penning and the Disney theme park recently welcomed these adorable Cotton-Top Tamarin Triplets to the family.
Penning, Vice President, Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment shared the exciting news and these great pics about the critical species on social media. Mom and babies are doing great, and the new triplets are easing into life on Discovery Island.

The last several days have been exciting for the animals and the caregivers. The tiny babies have been bonding with their parents and siblings in their new environment.
Both mom and dad share infant care responsibilities, which includes carrying the young on their backs until approximately 14 weeks of age.
