SNOW in OCTOBER?! Disneyland—What’s Going On??
Listen, we’re big holiday fans over here at MickeyBlog. But even we agree that there’s a TIME and a PLACE for the season.
Of course, we’re excited to enter into the festive season–who isn’t?! But mid-October definitely isn’t the time to start breaking out the holiday decor…or so we thought.
SNOW?!
Do you feel a chill in the air? We don’t either…but that didn’t stop Disneyland Park from decking out Sleeping Beauty Castle with snow! (Yes, we’re aware Halloween hasn’t even passed yet.) Check out Scott Gustin’s post on X, giving us a peek at the holiday decor:

“Forget Halloween.” – Disneyland, probably. We’re only in the middle of October, but Disneyland decided that park guests are ready for a touch of holiday spirit. This is all pretty confusing, considering the holiday season isn’t set to start at the Disneyland Resort until November 10th.
I guess we’ll keep an eye out for any other holiday decor that might start popping up around the resort.
The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
Despite the snow already showing up at Sleeping Beauty Castle, the holiday season won’t take over the parks until November 10th, and will run through January 7th, 2024. During the holiday season, guests will be able to take part in the merry festivities, like Disney Festival of Holidays…
…¡Viva Navidad!…
…jolly entertainment…
…and holiday-inspired ride overlays!
Stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com, as we’ll keep an eye out for any other holiday additions hitting the parks!
