Hedge Fund Manager Takes Staff to Walt Disney World as Christmas Bonus
Well, it certainly beats the jelly-of-the-month club! According to a recent piece in Entrepreneur.com, Citadel Securities we’re definitely in the giving mood this holiday season and treated 10,000 employees and their family members to a surprise getaway at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as their Christmas Bonus! The event was planned by CEO and billionaire Ken Griffin and included a three day getaway for employees and their families.
We’re told the Christmas Bonus of a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth included lodging, park tickets, food and drink.
According to the report, the holiday celebration was originally organized to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Citadel Securities and 30th Anniversary of Citadel. However, the original plans for the 2020 even were put on hold due to the pandemic.
But that’s not all. We’re told that guests were also treated to private concerts of Coldplay, Carly Rae Jepsen and Diplo.
The special Citadel getaway included not just domestic employees but also those from Canada and Europe!
Head Office for Citadel is in Miami, FL. CEO Ken Griffin is set to be worth and estimated $29 billion.
