As you can see, they received a very warm welcome from the incredible team at the eatery!
The decor was the epitome of 1920’s elegance.
Dark woods and ornate partitions give it an almost speakeasy sort of vibe!
As you can see, the display cases line the seating area so there’s something amazing to look at no matter where you are seated.
Our place setting was absolute perfection with branded plates.

Even the salt and pepper shakers had 1923 branding!
The menu at 1923 pays tribute to The Walt Disney Company’s California roots. The dishes are sophisticated and offer a fusion of cultural flavors including a unique blend of Asian, European and South American cuisines. There’s also an impressive array of Napa Valley wines!
Greg tried the Ahi Tuna appetizer.
The dish came with pickled lotus root, oyster mushroom, black sesame brittle, wasabi, and yuzu mayonnaise.
Elyssa’s appetizer was the Tortellini.
It came with Meyer lemon, artichoke, sundried tomato and baby spinach.
A bread course was also brought to the table. It was fig and olive bread with honey butter dip.
For the Soup Course, Greg and Elyssa sampled the Roasted Roma Tomato Soup. It was served with a sourdough purple basil crostini.
Above is a look at the Pulled Guinea Hen Corn Chowder. It comes with Yukon Gold potatoes, cilantro and smoked bacon!
On to the Main Course. First let’s take a look at the amazing Filet Mignon!
This dish came with buttered long beans wrapped in smoked bacon. There was crushed fingerling potato hash and a pink pepper cafe au lait.
And here is a look at the stunning salmon. It was served with California wild honey parsnip puree, orange fennel essence, and sautéed black garlic rapini.
Last of the mains Greg and Elyssa tried was the Tortiglloni Pasta. It came with prosecco cream, pancetta, shallots, cremini mushrooms and lemon thyme!
After the Main Course a dessert menu was passed around titled Sweetly Ever After!
Inside the menu were lots of sketches of beloved animated films.
Dessert is also the perfect time for a cocktail or glass of dessert wine!
Greg and Elyssa sampled three desserts. First up was the Hollywood Hills Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae.
It featured vanilla ice cream, fudge brownie bites, freshed whipped cream, a cherry, and a chocolate piece with 1923 branding!

These sugar spice churros were served with a dulce du leche sauce!
