This New Pride Waffle is a Sugary, Rainbow Treat at Epcot!
Another day, another exciting, rainbow-inspired dessert to try!
All throughout Pride Month, the dining locations across Walt Disney World have been releasing some of the most vibrant, fun, and tasty treats to help celebrate the cause. Today, the lovely MickeyBlogger Sarah is over at Epcot, and just wait til you see the new creation she found!
Whilst gazing at the contents of the bakery counter at the Connections Cafe, your eyes will likely be drawn to that stand-out new addition, casting a rainbow aura from the center of the display.
We can see the regular Liege Waffle, but it looks like it has a colorful new cousin?
Of course! It’s the Pride Liege Waffle!
The Liege Waffle has been a popular menu item on the menus at both the Connections Cafe and Eatery, being a sweet, Belgian alternative to the Mickey-shaped waffles we usually see across the Walt Disney World resort.
The Pride Liege Waffle is the same as the original, yet with the colorful addition of a vibrant, rainbow drizzle of icing across the top. It cost $3.99.
The Connections Cafe is a Starbucks location, so this treat would be a tasty one to snack on during your coffee break. On the other side of the establishment, the Connections Eatery serves up their Liege Waffles topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. This Pride Waffle makes a fun, in-between option for when you want your dessert to be decadent, but not too much so!
Throughout June, MickeyBloggers have enjoyed trying a whole range of sweet, Pride Month treats. From cheesecakes to cocktails, cereal treats to cupcakes, there are some great options to be found on menus all around the resort!
The Connections Cafe and Eatery has barely been open for two months, so we’re thrilled to see it is already delivering great options in the way of themed treats! We can’t wait to see what other fun, limited-time offerings are served up in the future!
