Disney Cruise Line Opens Registration Window for ‘it’s a small world’ Nursery Aboard Ships
Planning a cruise with little ones in the near future? I have some good news to pass along then: Disney Cruise Line has just confirmed the “it’s a small world” nursery is now open aboard their ships and reservations are now available!
Reservations for Disney Cruise Line’s ‘it’s a small world” nursery are now open up to book up to 130 days prior to your sail date for those cruises departing in October and beyond if you are a Guest staying in a concierge stateroom.
The booking window for other Guests depends on your Castaway Club Membership level and is as follows:
- 130 days in advance: Concierge Guests
- 120 days in advance: Platinum Castaway Club Members
- 105 days in advance: Gold Castaway Club Members
- 90 days in advance: Silver Castaway Club Members
- 75 days in advance: First time Guests
Disney Cruise Line’s “it’s a small world nursery” is offered for children ages 6 months to 3 years old on most cruises. (The age requirement is 1 to 3 years old on Transatlantic, Hawaiian, and Panama Canal sailings.)
Unlike the other kids clubs on Disney Cruise Line’s ships, the “it’s a small world” nursery is not complimentary and does charge the following fees:
- $9.00 per hour for the first child in your family
- $8.00 per half hour for any additional children in your family
The operating hours of the nursery do vary by ship.
Children who visit the “it’s a small world” nursery are treated to a variety of activities including games, crafts, and movies. Cribs are also available for naps and late nights!
The “it’s a small world” nursery is of the last fan-favorite offerings to return to Disney Cruise Line. The kids clubs for older children have been open for some time now and have recently dropped the reservation requirement. (Reservations for the nursery have also been required even pre-COVID.)
