Disney+ Gives Turner and Hooch the Axe After Just One Season
Though Disney+ has seemingly gone from strength to strength since it launched in 2019, we just found out that at least one of their original titles WILL NOT be returning for a season 2- Turner and Hooch a remake of the canine cop comedy based on the film of the same name that starred Tom Hanks.
According to a recent piece on Comicbook.com, Disney has decided not to pursue a second season of the series. The cast of the show included Josh Peck (as the detective), Brandon Jay McLaren, Carra Patterson and Anthony Ruivivar. Though it surprising that this remake which did generate a big of buzz, isn’t sticking around, little was set about the project after it debuted on the streaming network.
You can check out the official trailer for the series below:
The role of slobbery sidekick Hooch was actually played by Five French Mastiffs who we’ll definitely be sad to see go.
Now word yet on other shows that may not be making a return but readers are encouraged to keep following along with us here at MickeyBlog for further news and updates!
