New D23 App Offers Wealth of Features
The official Disney fan club, D23, quietly debuted a new app this week, according to Attractions Magazine. Yesterday, the publication highlighted the wide-ranging, members-only perks of the app, though anyone can download the product.
According to the “Attractions Magazine” article, developers are still working on the app, but D23 members can look for a variety of features including notification of ticket sales, discounts and special experiences. Recently, D23 members received a special preview of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Le Crêperie de Paris at EPCOT.
Available on the Apple Store as well as Google Play, the app also features “engaging stories from the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and beyond; an interactive calendar of upcoming D23 events; every episode of the D23 Inside Disney podcast, with new episodes added weekly; the D23 Fan Cam, featuring fun stickers for fans to use to add extra Disney magic to their photos” and a “Digital D23 Membership Card, so members can redeem their eligible member benefits anytime, anywhere (but D23 membership is required),” according to the article.
An Important D23 Alert
The ticket on-sale alert would be a huge perk in the near future for D23 members. Earlier this week, D23 also announced that tickets for their incredible 2022 expo would go on sale on January 20, 2022.

As always, the D23 Expo line-up already promises a wealth of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars stars as well as Walt Disney Co. leaders, though specific names have not been released yet. We do know that attendees will get a first look at the celebration for the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2023.
