Located in Fantasyland, this fun-loving attraction is less than 3 minutes long and super popular amongst guests! Read on to discover some fun, cool facts about Peter Pan’s Flight!
One of the Originals!
Peter Pan’s Flight first opened in Disneyland on July 17,1955, and later at Walt Disney World on October 25, 1971 (technically 20 days after the Magic Kingdom opened).
Check Out the Nursery Blocks!
Pay attention to the charming nursery scene and look closely (and quickly) at the colorful blocks! They spell out “Disney,” referencing the talented man himself!
There is More Than One!
Peter Pan’s Flight appears in every Disney park, except Hong Kong Disneyland.
The first two versions are in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and the third opened in 1983 at Tokyo Disneyland.
The popular attraction also opened in Disneyland Paris in 1992 and the newest version opened in Shanghai Disneyland in 2016.
Look For the Hidden Mickey!
Of course, Disney Imagineers and creators would incorporate a Hidden Mickey. But where is it? Look towards the moon when flying over London!
If timed correctly, guests can see three craters that form the Hidden Mickey! Have you seen it?
Shanghai’s Attraction is Unique!
The ride vehicles in this fun version are slightly larger and hold up to four guests. Another cool fact? The cars stop and start and change speed periodically throughout the attraction. So fun!
