The last update we heard was that the PeopleMover’s opening date was being pushed back to May 1st, so this is an unexpected surprise.
The fan favorite attraction has been closed since Walt Disney World re-opened after the COVID-19 shutdown. We have been diligently keeping our eyes on it and have been noticing quite a lot of Cast Member movement around the ride and lots of attraction car testing around its track. But sadly we must wait a bit longer before hearing the famous page for Mr. Tom Morrow to confirm his flight to the moon.
The PeopleMover gives guests a chance to board an elevated tram for a leisurely voyage through Tomorrowland. During the narrated tour, go behind the scenes of attractions like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain and Star Traders retail shop. Plus, get a sneak peek at architectural models of Progress City, the prototype for Epcot.
We will continue to monitor the progress of Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover’s re-opening schedule. Rest assured MickeyBlog is keeping you up to date on all the latest Park News. So stay tuned!
