Waiting to Book Disney Park Plans? Don’t…
Ready to travel? Waiting for the right time? Unfortunately, so is everyone else…
If you don’t recognize the name Nick Ellis, the moniker “The Points Guy” may ring a bell.
But among the other signs of pandemic recovery, phrases like “revenge travel” or “post-COVID travel boom” are becoming more and more prevalent.
However, if you think that you’ll be able to wait a little longer and be sure to take advantage of relaxed travel restrictions; well, think again.
When to Go?
By the summer, every adult in the United States will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and by then a large portion of adults will have already been vaccinated, (hopefully) opening up more options for travel this summer.
Already one of the most important holidays in the U.S., this upcoming Independence Day coincides with a point at which nearly 90% of U.S. adults will have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to projections from The New York Times.
This has the potential to unleash the floodgates of the “pent-up demand” industry experts have been discussing since the pandemic began.
However, they may have a bit of trouble making their way anywhere.
The Points Guy also pointed out:
- The travel industry will remain in recovery even as demand increases;
- So, flights could be full, sooner;
- And those flights could be pretty expensive.
Where to Go?
He also gave some hints about non-Disney places to stay.That said, MickeyBlog.com has posted quite a bit about how to take advantage of Disney’s most recent offers and uptick.
