Greg and Elyssa Antonelle brought MickeyBlog.com along as 2020 came to a close. They started off the evening on Main Street U.S.A. where a holiday cavalcade greeted everyone ready to ring in the New Year.
In between taking some pictures from around Magic Kingdom Park, MickeyBlog.com’s camera traversed a very busy corner of Walt Disney World.
Then, at the end of this first video, we see Cinderella Castle light up and the first fireworks burst of the night.

BONUS: Magic Kingdom – A Kiss Goodnight On New Year’s Eve!
Just after Greg signed off after Part 3, Magic Kingdom surprised guests who stayed in the park with a “Kiss Goodnight.”
Our own Melissa Roden explained Magic Kingdom’s “Kiss Goodnight”:
The “Kiss Goodnight” is a special moment that happens a half an hour after the park closes. As guests start to empty out of the park, go against the grain and stay nearby Cinderella Castle to catch this nightly sign-off.
You’ll know the “Kiss Goodnight” has started as “Wish Upon a Star” starts playing over the loudspeaker. During this time Cinderella Castle comes to life in a glittering display of lights in beautiful blue and purple hues. The light shows lasts 2-3 minutes. Consider it the Castle’s way of saying “Nighty Night.”
New Year’s Eve at Magic Kingdom: It was a truly wonderful, wishful way to begin 2021.
And we’re expecting much, much more from MickeyBlog.com’s cameras on New Year’s Day when Greg and Elyssa try park hopping for the first time in nine months!
