Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree is Almost Too Pretty to Eat
Most people do not equate “delicate” and “pretty” with Gaston, but that may have to change because Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree Cake has been introduced to the manly Gaston’s Tavern at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. MickeyBlog has been tracking down the most popular holiday snacks lately and Belle did not disappoint with this one.
Gaston’s Tavern is located at the back of Fantasyland around the corner from the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Gaston himself can often be found outside (pre-COVID) greeting guests in a very “friendly” way. Gaston’s is famous for its giant cinnamon buns and frothy LeFou’s brew. Gaston’s has also offered the “Grey Stuff” cupcake lately.
Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree is a stack of almond macarons. The red icing holding the macarons together is an orange cranberry flavored filling. All of this is topped with yellow chocolate candies and powdered sugar that mimics the snow around Beast’s castle. The combination is both delicate and delicious.
Belle’s Enchanted Tree is $5.49, the same price as “The Grey Stuff” cupcake.
Other popular holiday treats around Magic Kingdom include the “Let it Snow” Taco at Pecos Bill’s, the Orange Bird Cupcake at Sunshine Terrace and the Pistachio Chai Tea Float at Aloha Isle.
If you are in the Magic Kingdom for the holidays, make sure to go by Gaston’s and try Belle’s Enchanted Cupcake. Watch out for Gaston though, he has been known to trek through the streets on his horse greeting his fans.
