The Lunching Pad Opened Today
The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom, reopened today. The counter service restaurant is located underneath The People Mover and Astro Orbiter. It has remained closed since the parks reopened in July, but just like some of the other eateries in the parks, The Lunching Pad, opened back up today to serve guests.
The Menu
MickeyBlog noticed earlier this week that the menu for The Lunching Pad had changed on the My Disney Experience App and website. The menu available offers limited items, but this is not unusual for restaurants reopening because of the limited attendance and demand. Many restaurants are offering scaled down menus. The menu does, however, still offer cold beverages, small lunch items and snacks.
Popular Items
The Lunching Pad is famous for their specialty pretzels. Crowd Pleasers like the Cream Cheese Filled Pretzel for $6.79, a Mickey Pretzel (served warm) with cheese dip for $6.79, and the Cinnamon covered churro for $6.19 are all still on the menu. And please don’t forget the chocolate sauce for that churro.
Today’s Opening
MickeyBlog was in the parks today to grab a few pictures of the newly opened Lunching Pad. Mobile Ordering is available and encouraged. It is very easy through the My Disney Experience App and cuts down on lines for food that may make social distancing difficult.
If you are in the Magic Kingdom, make sure you stop by The Lunching Pad and try some Disney snacks.
