PHOTOS: NEW ‘Encanto’ Show Testing at EPCOT as Opening Date Nears!
As we turn the corner on May and head into June, we are just weeks away from the official opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza in EPCOT! The final pieces of the park’s years-long transformation will officially welcome guests on June 10th.

In addition to finally opening up the center of EPCOT, CommuniCore Plaza is set to open with a new summer sing-along show based on Disney’s Encanto.

Running several times throughout the day, ¡Celebración Encanto! will be performed on the CommuniCore Plaza stage and feature everyone’s favorite Encanto songs, along with appearances by Mirabel and Bruno.
¡Celebración Encanto! Testing Has Begun!
With less than two weeks to go before ¡Celebración Encanto! debuts, we stopped by CommuniCore Plaza today and were thrilled to see that Disney seems to be testing the show!
While construction walls still block most of the area, we were able to catch a glimpse of the sing-along portion of the show. We could hear “The Family Madrigal” play as scenes from the movie appeared on the stage’s center screen.
It looks like the new show will combine scenes from the film with live characters and music!

EncanTrivia?!
In addition to the sing-along, it appears as if guests visiting the new area will get a chance to test their knowledge with EncanTrivia — an Encanto-themed trivia game.
Among the questions we spotted were “What does ‘hermana’ mean?”
It means “sister,” of course!
If you can name Mirabel’s sisters, this is the trivia game for you!
In between trivia questions, we also spotted Bruno’s door appear on screen.
And, while the screen was cycling through different graphics, the stage’s lights would either sparkle or stay stagnant.
At this time, it is not clear if EncanTrivia will be a part of ¡Celebración Encanto! itself, or perhaps something to entertain guests in between shows.
The Big Day is Almost Here
All will be revealed when ¡Celebración Encanto! debuts on June 10th!
