Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is known for its immersive theming, Big Blue Pool, and larger-than-life Disney decor. But keeping that incredible Disney magic in top-top shape requires a bit of tender loving care from time to time!
This week, construction crews turned their attention to the Cozy Cone Motel in the Radiator Springs section of Art of Animation.

Sally Carrera’s Cozy Cone Motel has come to life at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and we’re sure Sally would approve of the upkeep!
Currently, green barricades are stationed outside the motel office, blocking off the construction area to guests.

A large crane allowed crews access to the iconic Cozy Cone Motel sign, which received work earlier today.

The scope of the project is technically unknown, but no major changes seem imminent. The work appears to be limited to re-lettering of the sign and a possible paint refresh.

Nearby, the Radiator Springs billboard is as bright and cheerful as ever!
The police car that sits below the billboard is currently covered by a gray tarp and is blocked off to resort guests. However, crews are not actively working on the car at this time.

Construction during your resort stay is never ideal, but the current maintenance is only a minor inconvenience to Art of Animation guests.
Guests can still visit with Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Sally on the streets of Radiator Springs!
