Ice Cold Hydraulics Snack Stand Now OPEN in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Yesterday, we showed you a preview of the newest snack stand in Disney World — Ice Cold Hydraulics in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Cast Members weren’t exactly sure when it would finally open — but imagine our surprise today to find it ready for guests!
Ice Cold Hydraulics is Now OPEN!
Ice Cold Hydraulics has slowly taken shape for some time now over at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Muppet Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
On February 19, the construction walls for the snack stand came down, but we weren’t sure when it would open.

There is also an outdoor seating area that was nice and shady this morning.
We opted to try the two new specialty treats, the Candy Painted Cinnamon Rolls and the Bouncin’ Mini Churros.
Let’s start with the Bouncin’ Mini Churros! These savory churros are topped with Coca-Cola and bourbon candied bacon, sriracha aioli, and scallions for $8.99.
The churros themselves were delicious as always, and in one bite you get both sweet and salty flavors, with some heat from the sriracha aioli. But does it work?
Sadly, we weren’t a fan of this flavor combo. The sriracha aioli provided some heat while the bacon added an element of sweetness, but we didn’t really get a Coke flavor.
The scallions almost overpowered the other flavors, and it bothered us that we didn’t get a consistent sense of flavors in each bite.
Overall, the churros themselves were tasty, but we weren’t a huge fan of all the flavors together. Still, you might enjoy them if you like sriracha!
The Candy Painted Cinnamon Rolls are mini cinnamon rolls topped with a Coca-Cola-infused glaze and toasted nuts for $8.99.
Three cinnamon rolls make for a great shareable treat! We found that these had a consistent amount of glaze and nuts, but the nuts didn’t seem toasted to us and the glaze didn’t really taste like Coca-Cola.
This might come down to personal preference, but we generally prefer ooey gooey cinnamon rolls — and these were more on the dry side without frosting.
Still, if you like cinnamon rolls, these may be a unique option for you to try!
We’re excited about this new snack stand! Will you be giving it a try during your next Hollywood Studios visit?
