Tornado Watch in Effect for Walt Disney World and Central Florida
Good morning, MickeyBlog and Disney friends. We have important news and weather information coming in this morning that may affect your travel and vacation plans.
If you have been following along with MickeyBlog, you know that Walt Disney World was under a Tornado Warning yesterday. The warning covered southeast Orange and northwest Brevard Counties through 5:15 EST.
A new Tornado Watch was issued at 12:54AM on October 12th.
Tornado Watch
The National Weather Service has issued two Tornado Watches on October 12th for Central Florida and Orange County. The areas were also placed under a wind advisory.
One Tornado Watch is valid until 9AM…
…whereas another Tornado Watch was issued until 3PM for select Central Florida counties.
According to the National Weather Service, the Central Florida area will experience rain and storms throughout today and tomorrow.
But the good news? The weekend clears up to comfortable temperatures and clear, sunny skies. Next week, the temperatures drop to comfortable low and mid-70s for most of the week.
