BREAKING: Ahsoka Tano Will Join Star Tours Next Year
Star Tours: The Adventure Continues will get an update next year when the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano joins the show.
Ahsoka has become the central character in the Star Wars franchise over the last twenty years, originally appearing as Anakin Skywalkwer’s apprentice in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.
Ahsoka’s story was then continued in Star Wars Rebels before Rosario Dawson brought the character to live-action in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka.
With Dave Fiolini set to bring together characters from the Mandalorian universe for an upcoming feature film, Ahsoka is a natural fit for Star Tours.
Recent Star Tours Additions
The first time Star Wars: The Adventure Continues was updated was in 2015, when characters Finn and Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens were added to the attraction. At this time, a new scene featuring the planet of Jakku made its way into the ride.
Since that time, the mineral planet Crait from The Last Jedi and Batuu, the location of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, were added to the attraction on November 17, 2017.
The last update to the attraction came in 2019 when the ocean moon Kef Bir from The Rise of Skywalker was added to the ride.
Which Star Tours Are Being Updated?
According to Disney Parks chairman Josh D’Amaro, Ahsoka will be joining Star Tours at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disneyland Paris.
As a huge Ahsoka fan, I can’t wait! If you are a fan of the latest Star Wars series, don’t forget that both Ahsoka and Hera Syndulla will be meeting guests at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. What a time to be a Star Wars fan!
