A New Sleepy Hollow Mug Has Arrived At Walt Disney World!
My favorite part of Halloween at Walt Disney World is undoubtedly the Boo-to-You parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
While I love the costumes, the songs, and seeing Haunted Mansion characters come to life, the highlight of the parade is when the Headless Horseman comes charging down Main Street, U.S.A.

Seeing the frantic rider carrying his jack-o-lantern head is truly a sight to behold.
Not only is the visual of the Headless Horseman amazing, but it is also a really fun reference to an underrated Disney film — The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

Since the film’s release in 1949, Mr. Toad and his Wind in the Willows friends have remained at the forefront of Disney fans’ minds, due to the Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride attraction.
Icabod, Katrina, and Brom Bones, however, have been largely forgotten.

Disney’s version of Sleepy Hollow remains one of my favorite Disney cartoons and so I am happy to report that a new mug based on the film has arrived at Walt Disney World!
Sleepy Hollow Mug
This new Sleepy Hollow mug could not be any cooler.
The mug is shaped like an 18th-century tankard, which fits right in with the setting of the movie.
The front of the mug features the Headless Horseman menacingly drawing his sword and holding his pumpkin head in the air.
This mug does a great job of relaying just how terrifying the Headless Horseman can be. After all, “you can’t reason with a headless man!”
Above the ghoul, the mug reads “Headless Horseman 1949,” a reference to the year that The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad was released.
Underneath the Headless Horseman, the mug reads, “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.”
I absolutely adore everything about this mug. From its unique shape to its references to Sleepy Hollow, it doesn’t get much better than this.
I should also mention that the golden Headless Horseman image is on both sides of the mug. The image, combined with the black matte finish, makes for a great design!
