Magic Kingdom’s “it’s a small world” Queue Receives Refresh
Fantasyland has been getting some TLC as of late, as we’ve shared in recent articles. Speaking of which, the “it’s a small world” queue recently received a little refresh!
Recent Fantasyland Enhancements
Because our MickeyBloggers visit the Parks frequently, they notice all of the Disney details! Recently, we spotted a new Lightning Lane sign at Peter Pan’s Flight.
Bright pink, with purple trim, it features the second star to the right! We also noticed new banners at Mickey’s PhilharMagic and Fantasy Faire.
They feature musical notes and twinkles to reflect the attraction and store. As Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary decor continues to be removed, new enhancements are being added.
“it’s a small world”
“it’s a small world” is a surprisingly controversial attraction. To put it bluntly, you either love it or you hate it.
I personally love it! But, for some, the repetitive soundtrack is a bit too much.

This ride has a fascinating history, opening at the Disneyland Resort in 1966. “it’s a small world” was actually created for the World’s Fair!
In 1971 it became one of Disney World’s Opening Day attractions. It holds a special place in the hearts of fans, due to Walt Disney’s involvement with the original.

Upon visiting the attraction, our MickeyBlogger noticed new number markers in the loading area. Cast Members informed us that they were installed less than a month ago.
Let’s take a closer look!
Refreshed Queue
Metal numbers mark the lines, as seen in Disneyland’s attraction.
Interestingly, Disneyland’s queue is outdoors, while Disney World’s is inside.
The markers look shiny and new!
Circular in orientation, they feature a floral, geometric design around the edges.
Disney is all about the details, and we’re here for it. We’re happy to see Magic Kingdom’s “it’s a small world” receive some much-deserved TLC!
That’s neat! Are you allowed to choose your row? Just curious for my trip this summer
We’re so happy to hear that you’ll be visiting Disney World this summer! Although Cast Members direct you to your row, you can always make a request. Have a fantastic trip!
