How Far Will You Go for this Moana Inspired Pie?!
Disney World is offering some tempting, new treats in honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. But, how far would you go for this Moana Inspired pie?!
I must admit, I have a weak spot for anything coconut, so this one is calling my name! Our MickeyBlogger found the Hawaiian-inspired dessert from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Disney World invites you to, “Be surrounded in the artistry, enchantment and magic of Disney and Pixar movies. Stay at a Disney Resort hotel that invites you to explore the storybook landscapes seen in such classics as Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. ”
Let’s take a closer look at the sweet treat celebrating A World of Voices at Disney World! We’ll also share our review.
Moana Inspired Pie
The How Far I’ll Go Haupia Pie features a rich chocolate coconut pie with a layer of coconut haupia custard topped with sweet cream and macadamia nuts, for $6.49. Yummy!!
Moana stands front and center, enveloped by sweet cream resembling waves.
This item is also available at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Our MickeyBlogger admits that she isn’t a coconut fan, so she wasn’t sure what to expect.
But this dessert surprised her!
She really enjoyed it!
She shares that it tastes like chocolate pudding with just a hint of coconut.
Light and refreshing, the flavors are not at all overwhelming or heavy, making it the perfect springtime treat!
She really enjoyed the graham cracker pie crumbles at its base! They add a nice crunch, as do the macadamia nuts on top.
Overall, we were impressed, and would definitely recommend trying this new dessert! So, how far will you go for this Moana inspired pie?!
