Brie Larson to Star in ‘The Treasure Hunters’ Coming to Disney+
Brie Larson is conjuring up her inner Indiana Jones and is set to star in and produce an adventure film for Disney+. The title is called The Treasure Hunters and will take viewers on a modern-day treasure-hunting adventure.
According to a recent piece in Giant Freakin Robot, similar to Indy, Larson’s character will be an adventurer looking for ancient artifacts and hidden treasures. Though there’s no correlation between The Treasure Hunters and Indiana Jones franchises, we do know that Larson will be playing a modern-day version of an intrepid explorer. So, when it comes to theme, we are getting definite Indy vibes!
Though we don’t know too much more about Larson’s Disney+ project, we can’t wait to see her take on another action role! Marvel fans will know Larson from her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel which is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most popular superheroes. Larson will also be making an appearance in another massive well-established franchise when she makes her debut in Fast X which is slated to hit theaters on May 19, 2023.
