Flower and Garden Festival Eats and Treats that Kids are Sure to Love
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you’ll know that the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing and will be running through until July 5, 2023. A highlight of each year’s fest are the incredible outdoor kitchens serving up delectable eats and treats. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to bring your kids to the Flower and Garden Festival we’ve compiled a list of kid-friendly treats that are sure to have your little ones rushing to park!
1. Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites at Brunchcot
Head over to the new Brunchcot stand to order this treat that is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. It takes traditional cinnamon rolls and adds a bit of extra fun with some candied bacon. The entire treat is also drizzled in cream cheese frosting!
You’ll find BrunchCot near Test Track at EPCOT. If you’re looking for the perfect beverage to wash down your cinnamon rolls, kids may also want to opt for the Fruit Loops milkshake!
2. Souvenir Orange Bird Sipper at The Citrus Blossom
Head over to the The Citrus Blossom in the Odyssey Center for the perfect thirst-quencher in the most adorable souvenir container. This years Souvenir Orange Bird Sipper is positively adorable. Best of all, it comes filled with an orange-lemon smoothie that are sure to cool of your kids on those hot Orlando afternoons.
3. Grilled Street Corn – Florida Fresh
You’ll find the Florida Fresh near Disney Traders and its the perfect pit stop if Corn on the Cobb is a family in your household. The Grilled Street Corn at Florida Fresh is given a delectable twist with a savory garlic spread and crunch corn chip topping.
4. Toasted Pretzel Bread – BAUERNMARKT: Farmers Market
We’ve got another savory festival treat. For the ultimate comfort food, the Germany Pavilion always delivers. Kids are sure to love this toasted pretzel bread entre topped with a delicious mix of black forest ham and melted gruyere cheese.
5. Maple Popcorn Shake – Northern Bloom
Head over to the Canada Pavilion for a fun take on a classic milkshake. This sweet treat features a sweet and fabulous maple syrup taste and is adorned with the Canada Pavilion’s famous Maple Popcorn. Yum!
6. Banana Split Funnel Cake – Funnel Cake Stand
You can NEVER go wrong with the decadent treats at the Funnel Cake Stand located in the American Adventure Pavilion. The Banana Split Funnel Cake the Flower & Garden Fest is sure to be popular with the kids with it’s topping of Banana-Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, Diced Strawberries and Maraschino Cherry. The entire goodie is drizzled with Chocolate Syrup.
7. Frushi- Hanami
A family-friendly favorite has returned to the Japan Pavilion for Flower & Garden Fest. Frushi is back! This fruit-flavored sushi features strawberry, pineapple and lychee wrapped in sweet rice and a pink soy wrap. It is covered in whipped cream, drizzled with raspberry sauce and sprinkled with toasted coconut.
8. Budino all Nocciole – Primavera Kitchen
Don’t let the fancy name fool you, this Italy Pavilion treat is Disney’s take on the famous “dirt” dessert and is perfect for Nutella-lovers. This chocolate-hazelnut pudding is topped with cookie crumbles and features a gummy worm!
9. Dole Whip With Fanta – Pineapple Promenade
You don’t have to go far to find Disney’s famous Dole Whip during the Flower and Garden Festival. Pineapple Promenade which is located near Port of Entry is serving up a float version of the Dole Whip made with Fanta for the perfect citrusy treat.
10. Chicken and Waffles – The Honey Bee-stro
Rounding out our look at kid-friendly dishes is a favorite in my family- Chicken and Waffles. Head over to The Honey Bee-stro near Port of Entry for this sweet and savory dish featuring crispy honey-brined chicken, a honey sweet cornbread waffle and whipped honey butter. The entire trat is then topped with spicy honey.
