Disney Gives A Sneak Peek of Upcoming Animated Series ‘Kiff’!
Disney has finally given viewers a sneak peak of their newest television show Kiff. The show will follow the adventures of an overly optimistic squirrel named Kiff and his best friend Barry, who perhaps doesn’t always share his excitement.
Set in the community of Table Town, the new show will explore the duos adventures at school and their close friendship.
Kiff was created by executive producers Lucy Havens and Nic Smal, who took inspiration from their own childhoods in Cape Town, South Africa.
To bring the characters to life, Orange is the New Black’s Kimiko Glenn will star as Kiff, while Craig of Creek star H Michael Croner will join her as Barry.
What To Expect
Each half-hour episodes will consist of two 11-minute segments and and original song!
Kiff was originally announced on June 17, 2021 during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
At the time, Meredith Roberts, senior vice-president for Disney Channel animation, Meredith Roberts stated, “Lucy and Nic are a brilliant creative team who produced a fresh and funny series with vibrant visuals that help bring the friendship between a squirrel and a bunny to life in a unique way”
Final Thoughts
Based on the art and trailer, I think we can all expect Table Town to fun place to visit!
The tone of the show also seems lighthearted and bubbly. I personally can’t wait to hear what the music sounds like. Kiff will premiere on the Disney Channel on March 10, 2023. It will also be available on Disney + March 15!
