FIRST LOOK: Disney 100th Anniversary Merchandise Preview
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you’ll know that Greg and Elyssa have been invited to Disneyland for a sneak peek of Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. As part of this exciting opportunity, we were given a first look at the incredible 100th Anniversary Merchandise that we’ll start to notice at the Disney shops in the weeks ahead.
Let’s take a sneak peek shall we!?
Above is a look at the Disney 100 signage welcoming us to the merchandise preview.
A big platinum Mickey also has pride-of-place in the center of the hall.
For those unfamiliar, the colorway for the 100th Anniversary seems to be Platinum and Purple/Blue.
Items in the 100th Anniversary collection feature apparel, housewares, toys and more!
However, our first piece of merch comes in a brilliant shade of red.
Check out this stylish 100th Anniversary beret.
One side of the inside rim features Mickey Mouse’s signature.
The other side features an embroidered image of Mickey Mouse with his hand raised!
Pin Collectors are sure to love this 100th Anniversary pin featuring a sign for Walt Disney’s Disneyland along with an image of Tinker Bell.
Other highlights include a platinum and gold 100th Anniversary Mini Backpack from Loungefly.
There’s also the 100th Anniversary Starbucks Tumbler.
One side of the tumbler features an image of Mickey with the Disneyland logo. The other side features the traditional Starbucks logo.
Above is a look at a trio of Disney 100th Anniversary ornaments. These feature Goofy, Daisy and Donald. The ornaments feature flat bases and lobster-claw clasps so that you can display them on your tree or bookshelf!
Also note the 100th Anniversary Rubiks Cube on display.
There are also two additional ornaments. One features Mickey looking very debonair.
And here’s Minnie Mouse all dressed up for the occasion!
Here’s a first look at the 100th Anniversary Spirit Jersey. It features a small image of Mickey on the front along with a print from a classic Mickey Mouse short.
The back features the same artwork with shoulder to shoulder puffy lettering that reads – Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoon.
There were also some cute and quirk items like this Mickey Figurine that holds your cell phone.
There’s also a small typewriter replica for your desk top!
I’m love the coffee mug that says “Walt Disney Cartoonist” with a graphic of Walt hard at work!
There’s also a replica of The Walt Disney Studios water tower.
We also love the vintage look of this Walt Disney Studios ball cap. It features an embroidered image of Mickey.
You can jot down your thoughts in these vintage-style Disneyland notebooks.
There’s also this black ball cap.
Around the hat you’ll find embroidered the different lands that make up the Disneyland theme park.
We also got a first look of a new Disneyland handbag featuring a retro, ticket stub/GuideMap sort of design.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us for more sights and sounds from Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. We’ll be coming to you LIVE! over the next few days.
