An Amazing Time Keeper Figure Just Went On Sale at Disneyland Paris
If there is one thing that most people know about me, its that I loved Tomorrowland 94. When The Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland opened with “the future that never was”, I bought in, hook line and sinker.
While many people’s favorite Tomorrowland attraction from this era is the cult favorite ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, my favorite attraction was always the milder Timekeeper.
For me, The Timekeeper had everything you could want in a Disney attraction. It had Audio Animatronics, Circle-Vision, Robin Williams, Jules Verne, and a cameo by Boyz II Men. I mean come on!
While the Timekeeper has sadly been gone now for almost eighteen years, it looks like Disney hasn’t completely forgot about the robot scientist and his sidekick Nine-Eyes.
Remembering the Timekeeper
In case you don’t know this history of the Timekeeper, the attraction was actually created for Disneyland Paris where it opened under the name Le Visionarium in 1992.
A version of the attraction was then created for Walt Disney World, where it would eventually open in 1994 as The Timekeeper. This version of the attraction, featuring Robin Williams in the title role, would continue to entertain audiences (or at least me) until 2006.
Although the Timekeeper’s time may have be up (get it?), the attraction is still fondly remembered by many of us.
A Blast From the Past
If you are a Timekeeper fan like me, then I have amazing news. Kevin & Jody have created an amazing Timekeeper figure, exclusively for Disneyland Paris.
The figure Features the Timekeeper and Nine-Eyes standing behind the Timekeeper’s greatest invention- the time machine.
I love the attention to detail the artists gave the Timekeeper and Nine-Eye, they look amazing here! I also love seeing the Timekeepers time machine again. Who could forget that LED display!
Here is a closer look at the figure.
The figure stands about 25cm high, and only 1,000 copies were made. What a collectable!
Where to Get It
Now for the bad news (unless you live in Paris), this figure is only available at Disneyland Paris. In fact, right now you can purchase it at three locations. Constellations (Disneyland Park), Harrington’s Fine China & Porcelains (Disneyland Park) and The Disney Gallery (Disney Village) all have the Timekeeper figure for sale.
If you are able to visit the park, you won’t want to miss this collectable Timekeeper figure! It is available now for 199 euros, or roughly $215.
If you happen to buy this Timekeeper piece, let me know below! I am dying to see it!
