Disney Brings Holiday Magic to Children’s Hospitals
As reported yesterday, AdventHeatlh is the official healthcare provider at Walt Disney World Resort.
Let’s take a look at how Disney is bringing the holiday magic to Children’s Hospitals this Christmas!
Disney Brings Holiday Magic
Mickey and Minnie Mouse had the honor of visiting local children’s hospitals throughout the month of December. Disney Parks Blog shares how the beloved characters bring joy to patients and families.
Children’s Hospitals
Senior Executive Officer of AdventHealth for Children, Dr. Rajan Wadhawan says, “This is the first time we’ve welcomed our favorite Disney pals back to the hospital since 2019. Seeing them walk the halls again brought a renewed sense of optimism and hope to our patients and staff.”
Mickey and Minnie provide a special space for children and families during each magical visit. Creating lasting memories, Disney looks forward to continuing these happy meetings regularly in the coming year.
Senior Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility, Stefanie Steele shares, “It’s hard to put into words how it felt to bring a little light and see these patients simply be kids. I’m proud to work for a company that cares so deeply about making positive impacts in the lives of people and the places we call home.”
As previously shared on MickeyBlog, Disney is also bringing magic to Guests this season through the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. The 75 year tradition supports the Marine Toys for Tots Program.
Walt Disney World Cast Members and Guests donated over 40,0000 toys to help children and families located in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. Fans are invited to read more about the other ways Disney gives back to the community at DisneyWorldGivesBack.com.
Wishing all of the world’s healthcare heroes our heartfelt gratitude. We love seeing Disney bring holiday magic to Children’s Hospitals!
From Disney and from all of us here at MickeyBlog, Merry Christmas!
