New Lady and Tramp and Bambi Shirts Arrive at Sunset Club Couture
One of the best developments in recent years has been the explosion in merchandise based on movies from Disney’s Golden age.
While I like the Disney Renaissance movies as much as the next guy, but for a while it felt like some of the classic Disney movies of the 40s and 50s were being forgotten.
Well I am happy to report that today over at Sunset Club Couture at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we found three amazing shirts featuring characters from classic (and often looked over) Disney movies!
Lady and the Tramp Poster Shirt
First up, we have this Lady and the Tramp shirt.
The shirt is based on the iconic Lady and the Tramp poster that accompanies the films release. I love the way that it looks like it was hand painted.
The texture and detail is amazing!
Bambi
Next up we have this long sleeve top based on Disney’s Bambi.
The shirt is one large image of Bambi and Flower intently watching a horse fly. The whole the shirt is covered in white polka-dots that add a dream like feeling to the scene.
This shirt especially encapsulates the feeling of wonder and innocence that the film portrays. Also, in case you were concerned, Thumper is here too!
Pound Dogs Shirt
Last but not least we have my absolute favorite shirt.
For those of you who haven’t seen Lady and the Tramp, this top features the oft forgotten Pound Dogs!
Bull, Boris, Pedro, and even Dachsie are all here and looking good! In the movie, this group of dogs met Lady when she was sent to the pound, and performed the song He’s a Tramp.
Interestingly enough, Toughy and Peg are both missing, and have been replaced by Si and Am.
