Sweet Seasonal Treats Return to Germany Pavilion at Epcot
Some call it spooky season, I call it “Sweet Season!”
We’re deep into fall, and the blustery autumnal breeze has blown in two delightful seasonal sweets over at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot. Bring your appetite, and let’s go check them out!
It probably sounds strange to the uninitiated, but every true Disney Parks fan will tell you they have a favorite smell at Walt Disney World. Whether it’s the grasslands of Soarin’, the popcorn of Main Street, U.S.A, or even the floral deliciousness of the Grand Floridian Lobby, there’s always that one scent that instantly transports you to vacation bliss.
What’s my favorite Disney scent, you ask? Well, it’s this place…
Behold: it’s Karamell-Küche!
We’re over at the Germany pavilion in Epcot, where the sweetest smells of caramel are wafting out, enticing everyone in to marvel at their tasty counter of delights.
Ah, just look at all of that caramel-infused goodness.
I could very easily write a whole post on how much I love this bakery, but you can read MickeyBlogger Melissa’s fabulous account here instead.
Instead, I’m going to pull myself back in to get back to the reason why we’re here: to check out the returning seasonal treats!
There are two delicious desserts back on the menu for us to admire today. One is full of autumnal warmth, while the second brings all the coziness of the winter.
Basically, Karamell-Küche are over here providing us with enough sweet treats to fuel the next few months, and we sure do love them for it!
The first dessert we have to show you is this adorable cupcake.
With a title like the “Pumpkin Spice Caramel Cupcake,” you just know that this is going to be full of all the cinnamon-y, nutmeg-y, pumpkin-sprinkled goodness that has become the flavor base to all our falls!
I’ts $5.79, and the cake looks absolutely divine, with the mound of frosting and a drizzle of caramel criss-crossed on the top!
Karamell-Küche is actually a location which specializes in treats featuring Werther’s Original caramel – that’s why the menu items are full of that golden, glorious goodness.
We’re sure the iconic flavor of Werther’s would go so beautifully with pumpkin spices!
Moving on now, where we have this Werther’s Original Caramel and Gingerbread Cookie.
Costing $5.99, this cookie blends Werther’s caramel with gingerbread, to create a treat that sounds so festive, it’s hard to resist!
The dessert actually consists of two cookies, sandwiched together whoopie pie-style. Yum!
If you’re looking to try either of these treats for yourself this season, we’d recommend just following your noses to the center of the Germany pavilion at Epcot. You won’t be disappointed!
