New “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Haunted Mansion” Magnets Appear at Magic Kingdom
Ahoy there, foolish mortals! Are ye ready to plummet down into the boundless realm of Davy Jones’ locker?
Don’t worry, I haven’t gone mad and mixed up two of the Magic Kingdom’s best-loved classic attractions! No, I’m actually here because two awesome new magnets have arrived at the Magic Kingdom, inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion rides.
It’s impossible to pick a favorite, so why not go for both? Let’s check them out!
The first magnet we’ll look at is inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, and it sure is a cool one!
The magnet resembles an old parchment poster, advertising mateys to “Gather ye crew for Walt Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean!”
This classic and unique attraction poster also features a sketch image of Redd (the updated version,) and calls back to 1973, the year the ride first opened at Caribbean Plaza in the Magic Kingdom.
It’s such a cool magnet, and souvenir from the ever-popular Adventureland attraction!
The second magnet we have to show you is also inspired by a Magic Kingdom attraction, but this time over in Liberty Square.
Shaped like a gloomy knocker from a door you most likely wouldn’t want to open, it can only be a relic from the Haunted Mansion!
This 3D door knocker will surely make a great talking point in your house, and is sure to be admired by fellow Haunted Mansion fans.
Magnets are always a fun and classic souvenir from a vacation. However, the magnets at Walt Disney World are, more often than not, of the flat, die-cut variety.
So, it makes a great change to see these awesome and unique designs in the parks, and we’ll hope to see many other attractions represented this way in the future!
Our MickeyBloggers found both of these magnets over at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. Will you be heading over to check them out as you make your way to your favorite attractions on your next visit?
