“Hercules” D23 Magical Screening Tickets On Sale Now
Marking its 25th anniversary, the heroing journey of “Hercules” returns to theatres this spring for a special showing with D23, the official Disney Fan Club. Part of the D23 Magical Screening Series, the club recently announced the four special dates and locations to experience this unqiue event, which includes a special presentation of “D23: Five Facts of Disney’s Hercules” as well.
According to the D23 Magical Screening Series page, “Hercules” fans can choose from one of four locations: New Yorck City, Orlando, Orange County (CA), and Boston. With check-in set to begin 45 minutes prior to showtime,details posted include the following dates and times:
- Friday, April 29, 2022; 4 p.m. EST – New York, NY: AMC Empire 25
- Saturday, April 30, 2022; 4 p.m. EST – Orlando, FL: AMC Disney Springs 24
- Saturday, April 30, 2022; 4 p.m. PST – Orange County, CA: AMC Orange 30
- Sunday, May 1, 2022; 4 p.m. EST – Boston, MA: AMC Boston Common 19
Attendees will receive an exclusive “Hercules” Magical Screening Series Collectible Patch at the event to compliment the special feature film and preshow.
As with so many D23 events, tickets to the Magical Screening Series are limited and sure to sell out with fans of the coming-of-age story. Follwing the demi-god, the animated features explores the story of Hercules as he attempts to return to his family and home on Mount Olympus. Famous for its anthem, “I Will Go the Distance” and the catchy tune of the Muses, “Zero to Hero,” the ultra-popular film also features the comically hotheaded Hades and conflicted Meg. The film was directed by John Musker and Ron Clements. Disney Legend Alan Menken teamed up with David Zippel to write the film’s songs.
