Hand Pulled Candy Canes Are Coming Back To Disneyland
A beloved Disneyland tradition is back for 2021! Disneyland took to social media today to announce that their famous hand-pulled candy canes will once again be on sale starting on December 7th.
For those unfamiliar, these treats have been delighting visitors since 1968 and for many, the holidays just aren’t the same without them.
Each year the talented Disneyland Resort Candy Makers make these awesome treats from scratch. They mix the ingredients and hand pull the candy before rolling, twisting and wrapping them for you to take home with you!
The dates and locations to purchase this year’s candy canes are as follows:
- Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen at Disneyland park: Dec. 7, 9,15, 21, 23
- Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure park: Dec. 8, 14, 16, 22

This year, Disney is setting up a mobile waitlist for Candy Cane purchases. Let me just say that in some instances nabbing one of these beauties is a little bit like winning the lotto! Once the mobile waitlist is activated guests can add your name and phone number to your preferred pick-up location and you will receive a text when it is your time to return to the location with the opportunity to purchase your candy cane.
However, it should be noted that this is only available while supplies last (which won’t be long) and that Candy Canes ARE NOT available for purchase through mobile order. The goal is to get on the list as early as possible to be in with a chance to get yours!
