A Handful Of NEW Must-Try Disney Springs Treats
The delectable new eats and treats at Disney Springs have been coming fast and furious and we’re not complaining. For those visiting Disney World’s downtown shopping district over the next few weeks, we did think it would be helpful to share some of our favorites with you.
We’ll hope you’ll try one or two of the items on our list during your next Walt Disney World visit!
Killer Bee Pizza – Splitsville Luxury Lanes
When we’re at Walt Disney World, my family loves to go to Splitsville for some delectable pizza and people watching! If you like things a bit fiery than you’re sure to love the Killer Bee Pizza. This pizza pie is topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, mushroom, basil and is drizzled with Mickey’s Hot Honey – YUM!
Great Pumpkin Donut – Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew
We love this new Halloween treat so much that we gave it its own article. But, for those that missed it, this glazed donut is topped with vanilla icing, black and orange sprinkles, candy corn, buttercream frosting and a pumpkin-shaped marshmallow candy. It makes us smile just looking at it!
50th Anniversary Treats – Erin McKenna’s Bakery
Eric McKenna has long been the go-to-spot for those looking for vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, eff-free, soy-free and kosher treats! The goodies they’ve rounded up for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration are no exception.
You’ll find a delectable array of iridescent cupcakes, brownies and donuts so whimsically wonderful you’ll be glad you dropped into their Disney Springs shop!
Pumpkin Spice Boba Tea – Yesake
Yesake is a fantastic, slightly under the radar spot at Disney Springs known for their fabulous Boba Teas. Halloween is no exception as they’ve created a special treat for visitors this October. This treat will be around until mid-November and is a mix of almond milk, black tea, pumpkin spices and of course boba pearls.
Mimosa Sorbetto – Vivoli il Gelato
I am constantly going on about the treasures you’ll find at this classic Italian-style ice cream shop. Here’s a fantastic example. A mimosa in ice cream form? Yes, Please. This treat is actually made with Prosecco and orange juice!
Black Magic and Twisted Pumpkin Martinis – Morimoto Asia
For those on the lookout for the perfect martini, head over to Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs for two Halloween specialties. First up is the Twisted Pumpkin Martini. Morimoto Asia takes their classic lychee martini and adds in some pumpkin spice liqueur and the end result is nothing short of delightful.
Alternatively, there’s the Black Magic which is filled with rich blueberry flavors along with Ketel One Grapefruit Vodka and Rose Water for a fragrant and eye-catching treat.
Sisters Elixir Cocoa Bomb – The Ganachery
This is another treat that we shared with you earlier this week but we REALLY want to make sure that you don’t miss it! This cauldron of cuteness will make the best cup of hot cocoa you’ve ever had. Simply put it in hot milk, use the broom stir, give a big “Hocus Pocus” and enjoy.
Double Stuffed Oreo Cupcake – Sprinkles
You’ll go batty over this special seasonal cupcake available at Sprinkles until October 31st. This goodie is made up of rich chocolate cake that is filled with orange and vanilla buttercream. There’s a Halloween orange OREO cookie crust and an OREO crumbled rim. The treat is then adorned with a cute little bat!
Pineapple Upside Down Cake – The BOATHOUSE
We can’t think of a better way to finish off a meal than this gorgeous Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Created for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary This cake is garnished with blue and purple swirled whipped cream, gold-dusted white chocolate and a cherry!
Frankenstein and the Bride Cookies – Gideon’s Bakehouse
We couldn’t possible give you a rundown of Disney Springs eats and treats without mentioning one of our favorite spots – Gideon’s Bakehouse!
They are serving up two special Halloween cookies this October! The first is Frankenstein which is cookie “stitched” together with Chocolate, Double Stuffed OREOS, and M&Ms. Joining Frankenstein this year is The Bride which features White Chocolate, Golden OREOs and M&Ms.
