Top 5 Things To Do That Are Free at Walt Disney World!
There are plenty of fun things to do at Walt Disney World that do not cost anything! That’s right! They are 100% free offerings! So gather your family and get ready for some fun!
And read on for my Top 5 things to do that are free at Walt Disney World!
Resort Hop
It costs nothing to check out the various beautiful resorts on Disney Property! However, if you are staying on Disney property its even easier!
Hop aboard the monorail, boat, or bus transportation and explore the different locations! Especially with the holidays decor popping up soon!
Every resort is beautifully themed and has a ton of offerings. Explore the merchandise locations, wander through the grounds, or grab a bite at one of the Dining locations.
Totally up to you if you want to spend any money or none at all. But resort hopping is a great way to spend an afternoon and see everything Disney has to offer!
Explore the Boardwalk!
This is one of my favorite places to go! Disney’s Boardwalk is the perfect combination of nostalgia and charm. And I highly recommend visiting at night when music is playing, live entertainment appears, and the lights are on. It is simply magical!
If you’re looking for a cost-effective experience the Boardwalk is great. Feel free to stroll the Boardwalk and explore the various hotels or relax on a bench to people watch. There are plenty of dining options, carnival kiosks, and lounges if your budget includes a drink or a bite, but there is plenty to experience for free!
Check out Disney Springs!
What is not to love about Disney Springs! This is an excellent and free Disney Destination. The themed location is a retail, dining and entertainment center inspired by Florida’s charming waterfront towns. It is free to park and explore the historic architecture and its natural beauty.
Disney Springs is comprised of 4 distinct “neighborhoods” including the Town Center, the Landing, the Marketplace, and West Side. Each area is great and there is plenty of outdoor live entertainment to check out.
Experience the Electrical Water Pageant!

- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (including Narcoossee’s)

Watch a Movie Under the Stars
Gather the family and cozy up to watch a nighttime movie under the stars!
Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels can catch a complimentary movie screening available poolside or near Floridian woodlands. Simply check with the resort’s front desk for movie info!
